From Alberta Chief Firearms Officer (CFO) Range Approval: LINK

• Handguns:
1. The range is approved for all handgun calibre cartridges
2. During all activities the target shall be placed to obtain the most efficient use of the backstop, side berms and terrain to capture projectiles.
3. Reactive Targets shall not be closer than 10 meters from the firing point.
4. Firing may only take place from the shooting stations and firing points that employ physical limitations to elevation, depression and traverse of the firearm.
5. All targets MUST be placed within 2 meters of the base of the approved backstop(s) or directly in front of approved bullet catchers/traps.
6. Targets must not be placed at any other location on the range.
7. The range is approved for reactive target type shooting. i.e. bowling pins, steel plates, etc. Reactive targets must not be closer than 10 metres from the firing point.

At the descretion of and with the specific approval of the Club Governing Board, Sanctioned Events may be approved for:

• Shotguns:
1. The range is NOT Approveed for Shotgun.

• Rifles:
1. NOTE: Approval is based on the Maximum Range and Velocity of the Ammunition used and NOT the type of fireamr.
2. The range is approved for Rifles / Long Guns that are chambered for handgun cartriges.
3. All targets MUST be placed within 2 meters of the base of approved backstop(s) or directly in front of approved bullet catchers/traps.
4. Targets must not be placed at any other locations on the range.
5. The range is approved for reactive target type shooting. i.e. bowling pins, steel plates, etc. Reactive targets must not be closer than 10 metres from the firing point.

The 100-Yard Range must be CLOSED during sanctioned events held on the 25-Yard Range
