From Alberta Chief Firearms Officer (CFO) Range Approval: LINK

• Handguns:
1. The range is approved for all handgun calibre cartridges
2. During all activities the target shall be placed to obtain the most efficient use of the backstop, side berms and terrain to capture projectiles.
3. Reactive Targets shall not be closer than 10 meters from the firing point.
4. Firing may only take place from the shooting stations and firing points that employ physical limitations to elevation, depression and traverse of the firearm.
5. All targets MUST be placed within 2 meters of the base of the approved backstop(s) or directly in front of approved bullet catchers/traps.
6. Targets must not be placed at any other location on the range.
7. The range is approved for reactive target type shooting. i.e. bowling pins, steel plates, etc. Reactive targets must not be closer than 10 metres from the firing point.

• Shotguns:
1. The range is approved for low velocity shotgun shooting on a horizontal plane or less. (No elevated shooting, No shooting at clay pigens or similar items in flight.)
2. All targets MUST be placed within 2 meters of the base of approved backstop(s) or directly in front of approved bullet catchers/traps.
3. Targets must not be placed at any other locations on the range.

• Rifles:
1. The range is approved for SELECTED rifle cartridges as shown in template groups ".22 long rifle and .223 Remington". No other rifle cartridges are permitted.
2. All targets MUST be placed within 2 meters of the base of approved backstop(s) or directly in front of approved bullet catchers/traps.
3. Targets must not be placed at any other locations on the range.
4. The range is approved for reactive target type shooting. i.e. bowling pins, steel plates, etc. Reactive targets must not be closer than 10 metres from the firing point.

The 100-Yard Range must be CLOSED during sanctioned events held on the 25-Yard Range
