25-Yard Range

- Handguns:
- The range is approved for all handgun calibre cartridges
- During all activities the target shall be placed to obtain the most efficient use of the backstop, side berms
and terrain to capture projectiles.
- Reactive Targets shall not be closer than 10 meters from the firing point.
- Firing may only take place from the shooting stations and firing points that employ physical limitations to elevation,
depression and traverse of the firearm.
- All targets MUST be placed within 2 meters of the base of the approved backstop(s) or directly in front of approved bullet
catchers/traps.
- Targets must not be placed at any other location on the range.
- The range is approved for reactive target type shooting. i.e. bowling pins, steel plates, etc. Reactive targets
must not be closer than 10 metres from the firing point.
- Shotguns:
- The range is approved for low velocity shotgun shooting on a horizontal plane or less. (No elevated
shooting, No shooting at clay pigens or similar items in flight.)
- All targets MUST be placed within 2 meters of the base of approved backstop(s) or directly in front of approved
bullet catchers/traps.
- Targets must not be placed at any other locations on the range.
- Rifles:
- The range is approved for SELECTED rifle cartridges as shown in template groups ".22 long rifle and .223 Remington". No
other rifle cartridges are permitted.
- All targets MUST be placed within 2 meters of the base of approved backstop(s) or directly in front of approved
bullet catchers/traps.
- Targets must not be placed at any other locations on the range.
- The range is approved for reactive target type shooting. i.e. bowling pins, steel plates, etc. Reactive targets
must not be closer than 10 metres from the firing point.
The 100-Yard Range must be CLOSED during sanctioned events held on the 25-Yard Range
